NUTRITIONIST & PERFORMANCE COACH
Michael has also been heavily involved in competitive sport from a young age and has since completed his BSc in Sports Biomedicine and Nutrition. Having worked in a clinical setting as a nutritionist , Michael has worked with an array of clients. He eats, sleeps, and breathes nutrition and training. He frequently keeps himself up to date with the the latest literature surrounding the subject. He now practically applies his knowledge online to his
well established client base which ranges from elite levelled athletes, through to everyday weight-loss and general health seekers.
James has been involved in the fitness industry for 23 years, starting as a professional athlete with Leeds Rhinos Rugby league also representing his country in the same code.
During his experience as a player and trainer he has been exposed to some of the highest level strength and conditioning coaches on the planet and has gained extensive knowledge along the way. Having found his love for health and fitness at such a young age, James is also a fully qualified advanced personal trainer.
CLINICAL NUTRITIONIST & PERFORMANCE COACH
Michael joined the Beyond Human team with a wealth of knowledge in clinical nutrition. With an MSc in Clinical Nutrition, and having previously worked with local health authorities in the UK, and in the NHS as a lifestyle advisor, Michael is well-equipped with all the tools and experiences to help his clients along their journey.
With a great deal of his life being spent within high-level sport, and strength and conditioning, his ability to bridge the gap between what is deemed “performance coaching” in an elite setting, and adapting his techniques to cater for an array of clientele, has been well-established.
Originally from the United Kingdom, Beyond Human Performance Coach Mark Sumner has quickly become a Dubai-favourite amongst his clients, having achieved fantastic results working with countless individuals across the emirate. Before moving to the UAE, Mark spent 5 years in the arduous role of a Royal Marines Commando where he thrived on optimism and lived fiercely by one of their core values, cheerfulness in the face of adversity.
Mark now brings his fun and friendly approach to his client training in the UAE, through a mix of tailored one-on-one fitness sessions, nutrition plans and his ever-popular group bootcamp classes. With a highly diverse client-base, Mark has coached men, women and children through a variety of unique journeys including fat-loss, muscle-gain, cardiovascular improvements, diabetes support, pre and post-natal fitness and cancer remission.
After graduating from King’s College London, Charlotte decided to pursue a career in the fitness industry.
As a former GB Junior Athlete, Charlotte has extensivepersonal experience within her field of work. This provides her with a diverse knowledge, and leads her to favour a sports-specific approach to training whoever possible. Aside from this, Charlotte also works with a number of pre and post natal clients, and her qualifications include Level 3 Personal Training, Exercise Referral and Programming for Sports Conditioning.
Charlotte believes in a balanced approach to a healthy lifestyle; one which isn’t restrictive, but rather realistic and attainable.
